Brainy Moving was born in 2023 from a simple idea: moving should be about skill, not just muscle. After five years as a Team Leader at JFK Moving Company, I often heard, "You should start your own business." So, I did! Our motto, "More Skills Than Muscles," isn’t just a saying—it’s how we work. We specialize in labor-only moves, helping you pack, load, and unload your home into trucks or containers. We don’t own trucks because we believe it’s cheaper and easier for you to handle that part. With Brainy Moving, you get our expertise without the extra costs.

Every move is unique, so it's hard to give an exact time estimate without more details. However, the duration of your move will depend on several factors, such as the size of your home, the amount of furniture and boxes to be moved, how many movers are on the job, and whether you need additional services like packing or disassembling furniture. Once we get a better idea of your needs, we can provide a more accurate estimate!
Our movers can wear masks and gloves upon request to ensure your comfort and safety. Otherwise, we let our team decide based on their own comfort. Please just let us know your preference ahead of time, and we'll be happy to accommodate!
Each move includes basic coverage at no extra cost, which provides $0.60 per pound for any items damaged during the move. However, we do offer additional coverage upon request, which is especially recommended for valuable but lighter items. Customer happiness is our top priority, so if anything does happen, we'll always work with you to find a customized solution that meets your needs. Your satisfaction is important to us!
Our movers will unmount your TVs free of charge as part of the move. If you need them remounted at your new location, please let us know ahead of time. An additional fee will apply for this service, so we can make sure to schedule it properly.
Each of our movers has a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in the moving industry. We're committed to ongoing improvement, so our team is always honing their skills to ensure efficient, safe, and professional service with every move.
